Things to do when you're feeling a little lost

Feeling lost isn't exactly seen as healthy, but it's a part of life. Everyone encounters it at some point, and when it does happen it can be scary. Really scary. I mean we haven't even finished 2 months of the year and I've felt it on a good few occasions. Not knowing what I'm doing. Where I am going. There are some things that help me when I get that way, so I thought I would share a few of them with you.

1. Remind yourself what you want from life, what can help you achieve that or get you there.
2. Remember you are not the only person who feels this way.

3. Be proud of what you have achieved, don't dwell on what you may not achieve.

4. Give yourself encouragement, you can do it. You ARE good enough.

5. Write down what you are afraid of, maybe it isn't that scary.

6. There is no time limit to success, take your time as your goals may take longer than you think.

7. Stop comparing yourself to others. This is your beginning, it isn't the same as their middle.

8. Nothing is permanent, things can change. Time moves on. You may be in a rut now, but it won't be for long.

9. Talk to a loved one, a friend. A problem shared is a worry dealt with.

10. Trust yourself, you are the one who makes your decisions. They may be better than you think.

11. Go for a walk, get outside. Sometimes a different scenery gives a different perspective.

12. Think about what truly makes you happy, not everything is tainted with negativity.

13. Nothing lasts forever, this feeling goes away. Things change. Remember to live in the moment, enjoy the present.
