Make Up | Urban Decay Shadowbox

Saturday, 30 January 2016
In this palette are a mixture of shimmery and matte shades ranging from creams, browns and pinks to more colours that you would use for nights out like purples and greens. It also comes with a small mirror in the lid which makes it perfect to have in your bag on a night out due to the size of it. At £23, it is by far the cheapest palette of the urban decay range but it's price doesn't mean it is any less pigmented than the Naked palettes or the Vice palette.

The eyeshadows are very highly pigmented, but obviously this is expected of Urban Decay as the brand is practically led by the sales of the eyeshadow palettes and how high everyone rates them. Personally, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to start buying high end brands as with 12 shades it covers a lot of looks you may want to experiment with. I personally love doing a smoky eye when I go out with friends, but my go to is a neutral bronze gold shimmer as it just brightens up any make up look at this time of year.

My favourite shades in the palette are probably 'Smog' and 'Baked Cowboy' which I also think work really well when you blend the gold into the light bronze which makes a quick look in the morning. I use this look constantly before school. (Mainly because I wake up waaaaay too late to do anything that requires more time, I should probably set an earlier alarm...)

Even if you have all 4 Naked palettes in your collection at home I would still recommend buying this palette just because it is fantastic to travel with. I mean this is probably going with me to Russia when I go. (less than 3 weeks aaaaahhh) The shades are just be-auut-ifuuull so if you have the funds, go and buy it, you will honestly not regret it. I bought mine from Debenhams but you can get in on the Urban Decay website too.

Would you recommend any palettes? Or if you already have this palette, what do you think?
